"I was very dissatisfied with the unveiling of the new United States Postal Service truck. Mail delivery is being crushed by giant retailers that are creating their own delivery systems, and many good people that depend on this job will unfortunately lose it. Private operator's goals are profit, community owned products have different goals.
I worked closely with Matthew Lincoln to see what Human centric design could do. We interviewed mail delivery personnel and crafted a human centric EV solution. Matt and I set out on a mission to deliver a driver/community centric friendly model that could alleviate most major pain points for drivers and the community! The results are below.
This model could be 3D printed in a smaller facility, it works on an electric skateboard, it's eco friendly and safe.
